RockJock Uni-Balls for Front Axle Housings are used in 3-link suspension applications, where the passenger's side upper control arm has been eliminated and all of the suspension load is now being applied to the one axle housing mounting location.
Our Uni-Balls press into the stock bushing holes on the casting side, driver's side ONLY) of the front differential housing and provide a durable solution that incorporates a 5/8 inch thru-bolt hole for heavier hardware.
This Uni-Ball will press into a stock JL or JT housing, only). The mounting width of the center pivoting assembly is 2 inch, to allow it to fit into the fork on JL/JT front upper control arm, however, the 5/8 inch thru-bolt hole will require drilling of the bolt hole in the control arm fork.
Uni-Balls feature a sealed bearing assembly, so no greasing is required. Finish is clear zinc plating.

Uni-Ball Specs:
- CNC machined steel outer barrel, clear zinc plated (1.795 in. on the press fit area)
- Stainless steel, sealed spherical bearing assembly
- Stainless steel high misalignment spacers (provide for a 2 in. mounting width and a 5/8 in. thru-hole)
Notes:
- Uni-Balls are ONLY used on the driver's side of the differential housing where they install into the machined hole in the cast iron loop on the top of the differential casting above the differential cover. Uni-Balls are NOT for use on the passenger's side of any differential
- A 5/8 in. drill bit and drilling of the control arm mounting bolt hole in the control arm fork will be necessary for assembly.
- Be Aware the factory frame end of your upper control arms are NOT sufficient to support being your only control arm! You must modify/replace your frame bracket so that a 2 1/2 in. Johnny Joint may be installed!
